Will Obama pass the midterm...?

Since Obama has been elected the 44th President of the United States he has definitely taken some negative feedback from the media.
The new backlash that the media is talking about is…”Will he pass the midterm…?”
Well to some of you that don’t know, the elected President each year is always graded to see how much they have done for our country and if there has been any change for the better or worse.
The media is asking questions like…”How long will voters give President Obama to turn the economy around?” The fact is that Obama inherited all of the issues that we are dealing with our economy and it is going to take some time to fix things.
According to the media Obama has to fix the economy or he will be a one-term president. I think that is a little unfair because there are so many other issues that he wants to change and that I know he will change but right now the economy is pretty much the #1 priority.
One of the other main issues is universal healthcare, and Obama is trying to fix things but it will take time.
The media is saying that he can’t improve healthcare because of the economy and he can’t fix the economy because of issues with healthcare. So basically they aren’t even giving him a chance to improve anything.

  1. Well the media might need to give Obama more than 3 months to make any large changes. I mean he's only human. But, he only received my vote because I wanted and needed to see a change in our current economy for the sake of myself and family. So hopefully changes are made soon and America gets on track. I's like to see him pass his midterm.

  2. This is one of those media "nowhere-land" periods where reporters can't write about the outcome of a situation because it's too far forward in the future. So, speculation sets in and makes for some really annoying articles. But there's white space to fill, so what will these people who are paid to write, write about? I only wish it would be something else. I guess if you agree to be chief, you have to withstand the verbal beating that will come your way. But, Obama has only been in office for less than three months--did anyone really believe he could fix everything that got broken in the past eight years this quickly?

  3. We depend a lot on our President to fix our horrible economic situation, but in all actuality our local Senators, and local officials are in a better position to change things for us then the President.

Also, things are going to get much worse before they can get better. We have to fix things one at a time so that we don't get ourselves to a point of inflation that, pardon my language, screws us all.

Look at FDR during the Great Depression. It took him two elections to turn things around, and a group of close financial advisers called, The Brain Trust.

  4. People are never satisfied with nothing, someone will always complain no matter what the situation is. May the media should speak with the vast number of people who are followers of this great individual.

No one can walk into a situation like what our economy is in and expect to see a huge change in 100 days. Give the man a break, he is doing the best he can.
